Who We Are
More Than an Organisation. A Movement for Dignity and Equality
The Forge Foundation was established in March 2025 to address the urgent need for advocacy, visibility, and protection of Trans and Intersex communities in South Africa.
We stand at the forefront of social justice and human rights, building bridges between communities, policymakers, and institutions to ensure inclusion in all spheres of society.

To champion and defend the rights of Trans and Intersex people through advocacy, policy engagement, education, legal support, and community empowerment.
